an article/review of EBM, industrial and goth radio show and podcast
the ungodly hour will be posted soon! keep checking for that...
i've been thinking about maschinerie's future a lot lately. part of me has a fear that after all the work maschinerie's various supporters and i put into it, it's just going to flop. it's great to have people interested in being a part of maschinerie but it's beyond difficult to convince people that they want to read maschinerie
...especially considering i wouldn't say maschinerie is the hottest looking or most tech-forward website ever.
that said! i think this summer we can look forward to a maschinerie upgrade. i made a whole
( listCollapse ) of things i want out of maschinerie in the future. some of them involve things i don't know how to do. so this is a barrier.
i'm going to set aside some time for myself this week, where i will make a massive maschinerie to-do list.
the comp project needs a lot of new TLC, and this new plan is going to need a lot of guidance and fleshing out.
in a sort of jumbled mindset i tend to think of dropping maschinerie in the near future. i'm going to try my damndest to push those thoughts away so that this 'zine gets the love it needs from its creator!
so there's that.
for now, i'm working on an article about "darker", "underground", and "alternative" blog/online journal communities. some reviews are coming your way and i'm also going to start a new "campaign", if you will, for fresh blood writers and such.
i'll probably be posting the "big to-do list" in the
forum. which y'all should join, by the way.
if you have anything to add to the list i made, PLEASE leave a comment,
myspace comment or e-mail [maxine nation at yahoo dot com].
